I use this manufactured goods to take out powder coat paints and it works like a charm. Apply on and let it sit for about 10-20 summary depending on the feature of paint. Then lightly rasp away. No real toxic or bad fumes and it wont hurt your skin.. 5 stars! But it must be actually bad for removing gaskets, lol.

This product is nowhere near as effective as the discontinued aerosol version #80646. Indigent performance on everything I tried it on, and doesn't work for powder coat removal like the 80646. Steer well clear, get the CRC spray instead...

The front of the can says "Gasket Remover" but the packaging says "Easily Removes All Form-A-Gasket, Spray-A-Gasket, and High Tack Gasket Sealants and Dressings".So which is it Permatex? I can promise you that this product does NOTHING on actual gaskets. I should have known better when I proverb it was able to be used in all 50 states. Whatever thing that is "safer" or "non-venomous" is guaranteed to not work.

Does not work. Does not diminish head gasket residue. I let it soak for a weekend with 4-5 re-applications a day and no chat. Dreadful manufactured goods.

It smells ok and is non-venomous. About the only nice equipment to say about it. Powder coating faded a little as I tested a tinge. I occur back a few weeks shortly to use up the whole can and it squirted a puddle. At that calculate it ran out of pressured air leave-compelling half the can full of the stuff that is similar to Move quietly up-off. Oh, that puddle that landed on the gasket help as much as spray of WD-40.

Like others have stated before me, this product does not live up to it's claims. If you can stand the reek, PB Blaster is the stuff you want for removing old gaskets. Cool appliqué brush makes for simple use.Great product that quickly dissolves diversity of ATV and similar gasket materials. Wipe up old gasket wit clean shop cloth and no scraping so prudent critical aluminum surfaces where you do not want scraper marks and dings.Had to open up brush port including tiny drill bit to get all flowing - took about 15sec.

I may possibly be inflicted with lived with indigent normal. I've occur to estimate indigent normal early consumer chemicals. I used this on an old, tricky gasket filtrate and let it bathe for 15 outline as instructed. Not anything. Applied over again and let bathe for 30 outline. Absolutely no alteration at all. I believe plain fill up would be inflicted with had extra effect. Count insult to the injury, I compensated near fourteen dollars at an car parts pile and they wouldn't pocket it in trade. I be inflicted with been export Permatex harvest all my lingering go and this is the at the initiation calculate I bought one with no regard whatsoever. I am very disappointed.

I must have heeded the warnings given by the other reviewers and steered apparent of this manufactured goods! The fact is, that based on my exceptional experience with other Permatex harvest, I thought my results would be different. I was wrong!The gasket I was trying to take out was a austere cardboard arrangement type, from the fundamental case of a vintage Triumph dirt bike. This is a relatively low temperature area and I would reflect a austere test for any gasket removal manufactured goods. Permatex 80645 Gasket Remover failed miserably! As another review confirmed, fill up would work just as well, maybe better. I tried numerous applications and let it soak in for nearly an hour without any success. This manufactured goods is unquestionably useless!Do yourself a favor, save your money and dodge this manufactured goods!
