Thexton THE107 Anti-Freeze Tester Best Reviews

The numbers are hard to read. If not it facility as confirmed and I only need to use it once a year.

The description on this manufactured goods is ill-treat. Here is no sixth album. It's a Propylene tester, but I reflect the description is for a ethylene glycol tester. The peddler told me the description was ill-treat, even if, it was a uncommon peddler at calculate. It's a feature manufactured goods and will continue a extremely lingering calculate and the 12 bucks I compensated was water supply value the fee.

this is a actually handy high feature tester, not ajoke like the 3.00 ones. I would greatly urge this tester to anyone who does reapiar work on vehicles.

We approved this manufactured goods to check the levels in our basketball base. Since we sought after to use a environmentally friendly manufactured goods (we have a dog and a child)we had a really hard time upshot a tester. Thankfulness to Amazon we found it. It was easy to use. The seller packed it well and it arrived promptly.

It was hard reading the graduations -- they must be bigger and black or akin. I used this new tester on a new jug of -50F Propylene Glycol RV antifreeze. It read +10F. Same for other bottles. The antifreeze in rank say it wont freeze solid until -50F but will form sludge before that. This +10F reading was about the temp when sludge started. So as long as you keep this in mind, it must work for you. Good price and benefit from Amazon

-100 top RV anti freeze look into no better than 32 degrees I think it was, no matter concentration. Tried pink -50 anti freeze in it too, also didn't bring about. Wasted my money!

I saw this and thought it would be the perfect tool for testing the Glycol in my tank. Water supply, I should be inflicted including heeded the other reviews, Its junk. Yes, it gives you a reading, but it is very imprecise and you by no means get the same reading twice. If you just need a very loose, ballpark assess, it may be OK for you. Not for me...it's going in trade.Instead, spend $29 and get this from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Fahrenheit-Ade-Advanced-Optics-Refractometer/dp/B0089EEWYE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1391958540&sr=8-2&keywords=glycol+refractometerIt is fantastic, and gives ultra precise reading. Its a pro-tool and will tell you just so what you need to know, Super easy to use and will last a lifetime. Tests other fluids as water supply.

This is a very good fee, especially with super-investor shipping. Remember with the intention of this is for the pet-safe, environmentally friendly Propylene Glycol antifreeze, like Sierra, not the habitual Ethylene Glycol, like run of the mill Prestone, etc. In some communities you can even flush old Propylene Glycol not effective the drain. Check local regulations.Be patient waiting for the disks to settle. The instructions in black and white on the tool are a bit small, keep for clear enough.

I used this austere little contrivance to test the freezing point in my money-building ice building apparatus. Very austere to use and it did the job. Pleased.

Marker readings on side of tester are very difficult to read as they are very small. Add spilled liquid and cold temperatures add to the difficulty in reading. Must be black characters instead of conservational which may improve legibility.
