I use this copper-based anti-seize compound on my Glocks, everywhere the steel slide and rails contact one another. Looks just so like the same sort of lubricant Glock uses on their guns as they're shipped from the factory to stores. I use a tiny bladed painter's knife to apply the lube to my pistols' rails, and it facility superbly at providing a smooth-in commission slide proceedings. A tiny hobby paint brush would also work well.Note that this is NOT for guns (or other objects) that have dissimilar metals between slide and receiver form (i.e., alloy aluminum Beretta form with a stainless slide, etc.). A copper-based compound like C5-A is only apposite everywhere both contact metals are ferric-based (steel, primarily). When in contact with steel and aluminum, the copper can produce strip issues, just so the opposite of what you want and need the slide proceedings to do.Excess compound cleans up easily enough, even if I would fervently recommend the use of defending wear on one's hands when handling this clarification. I use relatively low-priced nitrile gloves sourced from my pet locality warehouse pile when cleaning and lubricating my guns, so it's a relative no-brainer to continue to use them with the C5-A compound as well. Cleanup is undemanding, any emergency on the handgun comes off with a wipe of a damp rag; I use a couple of squirts of my customary cleaning key (Hoppe's Elite) on the rag to aid things along. With any contact on skin, soap and warm fill up will do the ploy.All said, the size of this container was a in tears closely akin to heavy-handedness, but upon pricing the 1 oz tube of this same material, the 8 oz bottle was just too hard to pass up, even even if I can easily say that I'm set for a couple of lifetimes with this material if I don't come in a roundabout way additional uses for the C5-A. But then over again, with all the automotive look good, persons uses shouldn't be hard to reflect up....levelheaded 4 1/2 stars, only letdown was the overly broad application brush provided to the underneath of the bottle lid.

The Loctite strain name has been almost a lingering calculate. Every mechanic, shade ranking and if not, must have this on hand.
