Lubriplate Multi-Purpose Grease Best Reviews

I bought this Grease to lube my garage door screw drive. It works great. Don't waste your money export the Genie grease that come in a 3 pack about the size of a journey toothpaste. The fake tube makes it easy to squeeze out so your hands don't get dirty too.

This material worked impeccably on our Goblin screw drives. I put a skilled sized bead not working the entire footstep and at that calculate ran all of the doors. One entrance is extremely nearly silent and the additional has a extremely affront hum. Greatly better than the potholed bumping signal from previous to. It has been 20-40 degrees ended the past month and here is unquestionably no chat in the noise. Awesome product and a greatly better fee for the amount you hear. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

I use this grease for my Goblin screw guide openers. This is far more deprivation commanding than buying the 3 quantity that Goblin sells. This lube is listed on Lubriplate's web locate as a recommended Goblin automatic garage door lubricant (as of this review). Never had a problem even with temperatures at 0*F or below. It's valuable to keep the screw guide lubed, and this makes it easy to keep them that way.

This is a extremely large squeeze tube of all-purpose purpose low-temp lube (it will probably last me decades). I'm not sure why "garage doors" are above all called made known in the item first name, but it can indeed be used for that. I should know since I at once applied a bunch to my 10-time-grease-neglected genie screw-obsessed garage entrance starter. I bought this as a replacement for of the Genie GLU grease after I realized how small the Genie tubes where. My advice? If you were thinking about buying the Genie grease, buy this stuff as a replacement for.I had difficulty applying a unremitting bead most of the time (it wouldn't permanently stab to the screw, and would curl back onto the tube spout). So As a replacement for I through small blobs every 4 inches or so by pressing the tip into the screw, squeezing the tube for a second, and pulling back. Repeat until you've put little dots all the way down the track. Cycling the entrance a few times does a plenty good job distributing the grease. The single eerie thing is the tube I expected is black/gray/colorless, not black/golden-haired/colorless as pictured. It appears to be same item by the same manufacturer, so at smallest amount I'm pretty sure it's the assess stuff. The Lubriplate webpage shows the same golden-haired tube that is currently pictured, but I'm wondering if perhaps they've altered the packaging and retailers just house of protection't updated their images.

This is what the garage entrance companies try to charge you 10X the price for at the Hardware Pile in the tiny tubes. Buy this once and you'll be skilled for the rest of your life.Don't try other greases on your screw drive garage entrance. I tried a different lithium grease and it sounded be fond of it was going to blow up. This has the right formula.

I got the Lubriplate low temp oil for my screw handbook garage door starter. It appears to be a good replacement for the Genie branded lithium oil as the proceedings on this door seems effortless now and the noise is substantially cut-rate

This is what old M1 and M14 rifles need ... and facility splendid on hardware too! Door hinges, no matter what business else that requires good lubrication that will stay put. Very cost commanding.

Lubriplate 10 OZ Low Temp Lithium Garage Door GreasePros:- excellent fat- generous tube, so you won't run out any time soon- excellent regard, primarily when compared to Goblin GLU-3 Screw Drive Garage Door Opener Fat, which expenditure about 10 times as much per ounce. (Grease from both harvest is colorless and has the same consistency; it seems to be the same grease.)Cons:- tip has a tiny hollow in the focal point which you are held take out in diplomacy to lay a narrow bead of grease. Try to cut it out with a helpfulness knife and you could basically cut yourself. I used a tiny punch to poke a tiny hole in the end and then drilled out that hole with a 7/64" drill bit. If you cut the tip of the tube off completely, the bead of grease will be 1/4" in diameter.Other:- it doesn't say "garage door grease" on the tube's printing, but there is a document sign on the tube that labels it as such. In any case, it seems impeccably apposite to Goblin screw drives or other purposes.Summary:Terrific bargain for excellent grease.
