Old Spice Commercial Is Every Man's Worst Nightmare

What's This?

By Seth Fiegerman2014-01-06 16:03:56 UTC

Old Spice tends to skirt the fine line between weird-funny and just plain weird. This weekend, it may have tipped more towards the latter.

The men's grooming company debuted a bizarre new commercial which shows mothers stealthily eavesdropping on their sons as they go on dates and lamenting the fact that Old Spice has "made a man" of their child.

The commercial, which aired during the NFL playoff games on Sunday, is part of the company's "Smellcome to Manhood" advertising campaign, developed with agency Wieden + Kennedy.

Creepy or not, though, it has already been viewed more than one million times on YouTube.

Champion XLUB16 Brute Lube Cutting Fluid, 16-Ounces Latest Reviews

Champion XLUB16 Brute Lube Cutting Fluid, 16-Ounces Latest ReviewsTried it for the price. Works ok as a cold fluid and brushwood a modest best than some I've used but I don't like the smell and I'm looking for a touch that stays with the tool a modest more.
- Mark "mark s"

I recently acquired a machinist's lathe and am learning to use it. I knew cold fluid was needed and tried numerous equipment I had on hand like 3-in-1 and WD40. Then I did some investigate that cold fluid is different from additional oils because it has a different molecular structure. Everywhere before I had met failure and frustration, now I can affect metal cleanly. Champion has no spiteful odor and clings and spreads well on the work go up. I apply with an oil can. I wish I'd known about how well it works for all those little tap-and-die jobs I've done over the being.
